This artwork was created out of encaustic (beeswax and Damar tree resin) and pigments. Because the medium is from nature, it is a living breathing art. Like all fine artwork it must be protected from direct light. Otherwise, like fine artwork, it will last for many generations. The history of encaustic artwork goes back 2000 years.
