This one-of-a-kind item was fired by wood in a Train kiln and will stand up to any modern kitchen, but I recommend hand washing to prolong its life. Wood fired pots naturally have many rough characteristics--it is part of their charm. But every effort has been made to make this piece smooth and comfortable to use.
