Eric Burden and War. Does anyone else remember them? I can't say that I "remember" them but I'm a fan of their oldie music - and when I say oldie, I mean seriously oldie as in written the year I graduated from High School. That was a loooong time ago. But a cool song nonetheless.
Anyway, the mountains in this piece somehow someway brought that song to mind. The icy coolness of the overlaying resin. The underlying blue of ice, obscured, distorted, modified.
As they said in the song:
I was taken to a place:
