This artwork has the look and feel of a cosmic space painting.  The deep purple, blue, and hints of green and yellow suggest a faint nebula and the indication of stars, but overall this area of space is composed of mostly background radiation. It measures 24" x 36" x 1.5.

Background Radiation

This painting is an abstract landscape which depicts a sunset on a distant desert landscape.  It is dominated by warm and neutral tones and subtle brushstrokes.

Ocean of Sand

A painting featuring lovely pinks, peaches, and hints of orange and copper.  There is a soft wispiness to the painting as though it was depicting a glorious and inspiring sunrise and the first blush of a new day.  It measures 30" x 30" x 1.5".

First Blush

This piece is meant to resemble an abstract stone look.  The streaks of red and brown look like desert varnish which is a manganese and/or iron oxide deposit made by bacterial processes that take the elements out of the air, oxidize it and cement it onto rock surfaces.  The cracks running through the artwork, the varying earth tones and shades, and the steaks of desert varnish make this a interesting painting to interact with.

This is a painting with lots of wonderful contrasts between the shapes and colors.  There are dark and light areas which are counter-balanced as well as the textures that vary from tiny cracks to prominent edges. The background shapes are reminiscent of the distant outlines of woodland trees.
