Made in Basalt, CO
About the Maker
Amanda Ramsay was born and raised in York, Pennsylvania and has resided in Colorado since 2001. Her work investigates shadows and light, sequence and order. She gravitates towards making grids, patterns, and shapes that are architectural or industrial in nature, though they can be derivative of nature itself. The making of her work is process-oriented and partially improvised. Her current body of work is made of casted concrete, resin, and plaster.
